Here I share the winners of the seven categories that I judged for TVSN's Influencer's Choice Beauty Awards 2022. This was in conjunction to TVSN's Customer Choice Beauty Awards.

It was such a privilege and honour to return as a judge for the second time. This time, I had 35 products across seven categories to judge!
Best Foundation Winner - SKINN Scientific Colour Foundation and Concealer
I do love all of the finalists, but I find myself reaching for SKINN's foundation and concealer most (I've been using it for almost two years now). I think it is because I love the packaging with the glass bottle and top with applicator. It has a serum in it with three forms of Hyaluronic Acid to help the skin stay hydrated. The coverage is buildable from medium to full. It sets beautifully to a demi-matte finish and is fairly long lasting. I have hypersensitive combination acne prone skin and my skin has never been irritated by this. In fact, when my face breaks out into painful red rashes, this is the foundation that I always use, as i know it will not aggravate the rashes and that it is soothing.
Best Foundation Winner - SKINN Scientific Colour Foundation and Concealer
Best Colour Cosmetic winner - Genie Million Dollar Lash Mascara.
It was so difficult to choose the winner for this category as it was a mix of mascaras, lipsticks and an eyeshadow stick. I of course love them all but there has to be a standout right?
I've used this mascara for a few years now. I find that it does miracles for my itty bitty lashes. I like that it does not clump but separates, limps and adds volume. The formula is enriched with a triple blend of botanical waxes. I like the curved applicator which nice fits my eye shape. It is long-lasting but very easy to remove,
Best Colour Cosmetics winner - Genie Million Dollar Lash Mascara
Best Prep + Prime winner - Mally Face Defender Evercolor Poreless Face Defender Primer w/ Sponge.
All of the finalists were fabulous and I really enjoy using them. However, I picked what i thought was the best value for money and the best multitasker. So it had to be Mally Ever
This is the OG. This has become a TikTok sensation recently even though the product has been around for about 10 years or so. Since this innovative product was released, many brands have tried to copy it with no success. It looks like clear wax but works like a powder balm. It feels balmy if you test the texture and then it becomes a clear powder.
You can use it as a primer for a smoothing look, minimising the look of pores. It is great for oil control as well. I also use it on top of makeup to reset and refresh. It doesn't "move" your foundation - you use the sponge that it comes along with to to press on the product. As it is colourless, your makeup will look perfect. It is compact enough to fit in my pocket and I just bring a thinner sponge for touch-ups on the go.

Best Serum + Oil winner - Gatineau Age Benefit Youth Revitalising Oil-Serum.
As I keep saying, all of the finalists/nominees for each category are fabulous. I chose the Gatineau Age Benefit Youth Revitalising Oil-Serum as it is a serum and an oil combined! This is a very finely formulated product and has an almost instant plumping and smoothing effect. It also add a touch of glow.

Best Serum + Oil winner - Gatineau Age Benefit Youth Revitalising Oil-Serum.
Best Skin Resurfacer (exfoliator) winner: Dr Nassif Detox Pads (60 Pads)
I do enjoy all of the finalists/nominess, but I chose Dr Nassif's Detox Pads, not only for the amazing formulation but also the convenience. How many of us are guilty of not taking off our makeup before we go to sleep after a long day? I am! I don't do it often but sometimes, the fatigue wins over vanity. This deep cleans the pores and lifts away all the makeup and nasties built up over the day. I like that the pads are about twice the size of similar products (so I only need to to use 1 instead of 2-3 pads) with one side which has a texture to help with physical exfoliation. Good exfoliation is also key to beautiful skin and this is a gentle and effective one.

Best Pamper Product Winner - Lisa Hoffman Set of 5 Bracelets with Fragrance Charm w/ Ginger Lily
Oh the finalists/nominees for this category are all so dreamy and super pampering!
Again, although I loved every single product in this category, I went for what I thought was the best value for money and functionality. It is the perfect combination of fragrances and jewellery (both things I love). (Side note, Lisa Hoffman is married to one of my favourite actors - Dustin Hoffman, so i think the Hollywood glam added a bit something something y'know?)
This is the perfect solution for fragrance lovers who have sensitive skin which reacts to fragrances. The "fragrance" part of this pamper product are little fragrance beads which you add into the charms. They are wooden beads which are soaked in Lisa Hoffman's perfume blends. The fragrance lasts for a long time and you can keep refilling the little charm. I use 5 beads each time and it lasts for so long.

As a special mention, another nominee for this category was Beekmans 1802. This was a very close second in this category, i really had a touch time choosing between the winner and Beekman 1802. I would say they are joint winners.
