I was recently given the opportunity to shop on Look Fantastic Australia's Webstore and I thought I would share my shopping experience with you.

Website Layout and User-friendliness


I like the layout and easy navigation of the website:

  • Everything is set out very logically, I can quickly find what I want easily and quickly;

  • The way things are set out makes it very pleasant to shop - it has a clean and uncluttered look about it;

  • The menu bar sets our the perfect categories making navigation (and shopping) super easy;

  • The website loads very quickly;

  • I find that the pages load quickly as I scroll through each category/brand of products; and

  • The product shots are all of very high resolution.

It is a very pleasant shopping experience. There are other web stores that I do shop at and I find their pages a bit messy. That's definitely not the case for Look Fantastic.


Sign up for email alerts - daily bargains!


There are lots of deals/flash sales happening each day and if you sign up for email alerts, you'll stay on track with the offers The offers are really good! I like that they provide deals every day. You really feel that you are getting a bargain.


 

A HUGE variety of Brands

There are a lot of brands! For each brand there are also a very wide selection of products available. It was tough to decide on what to get. They have luxe brands like Shu Uemura Hair and GHD. They also have drugstore brands like NYX and RAWW.


I also noticed that they have quite a few #cleanbeauty brands on there as well like Antipodes; Bite Beauty; ECO; glo minerals; INIKA; W3LL PEOPLE; and Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics (and many more). For a full list of brands, click here. If you are a beauty lover like me, you'll enjoy going through the list and discovering new brands and rediscovering old ones.


The huge variety of brands makes it a very fun place to browse when you are itching to do some retail therapy.


 

Product Descriptions


I'm really happy with the product descriptions. The amount of detail provided is just right - not too long (I get bored) and not too short (very succinct and informative). They gave me the confidence to purchase a product that I have never tried before.


There is even a blog with interesting articles on beauty trends as well as providing more information about how to use products sold on Look Fantastic.


Shipping Options

Look Fantastic Australia ships to both Australia and New Zealand.


Shipping in Australia:

  • Standard Shipping is FREE for purchases under $50 and takes about 2-4 business days for delivery.

  • Express Shipping is Free if your order is over $50, otherwise there is a charge of $6.95. It takes 1-2 business days for delivery.

  • Same day dispatch is available if you are order before 4pm (AEST).

Shipping to New Zealand:

  • Standard Shipping is FREE for purchases under $50 and takes about 3-6 business days for delivery.

  • Express Shipping is Free if your order is over $50, otherwise there is a charge of $6.95. It takes 2-3 business days for delivery.

  • Same day dispatch is available if you are order before 12pm (AEST).

My order was well over $50, so I had free Express Shipping. I ordered on the weekend and it came on the Wednesday.


My Look Fantastic Haul


My order came fairly quickly and everything was packed really well and there was no damage to the product's packaging. I find it irritating when my products arrive with damaged packaging, so I was really happy with that.


I was really happy to find high-end brands like Shu Uemura Hair and WEI Beauty Skincare. These products are available at the department stores/Sephora and It was great that I could find them all in one place instead of having to order from various shops.


I'm really happy with my purchases and I'm in the process of testing them out!

I was also pleasantly surprised to received some gift cards along with my order. I received a Hello Fresh $35 off gift care along with a $100 Wine Voucher from Drink Me.


Review of Look Fantastic - Final Thoughts


I think I would definitely shop with Look Fantastic again. In fact, I will check their website first for daily deals before hopping onto the other websites I normally shop from. In summary, my thoughts are:

  • Amazing variety of brands;

  • Easy to navigate website;

  • High Res Photos and Informative descriptions;

  • Daily bargains;

  • Affordable and quick delivery; and

  • Products arrived well packed
