The Jo Malone London Blossom's Collection is described as:

"Time slows on sunbathed shores. Waves wash over golden sands. As lazy days drift into breezy evenings, a Sardinian love story blossoms. Discover the new Blossoms collection with two limited-edition scents encapsulating an Italian summer.

Inspired by a chance discovery along the coast, Sea Daffodil is a solar floral fragrance, radiant with ylang ylang and rooted in warm vanilla entwined with creamy sandalwood. Bitter Mandarin captures the spirit of a Mediterranean summer evening: a carefree buzz in the air. Citrus trees line Italian streets and ice-filled glasses clink with a bitter citrus spritz. Vibrant mandarin is deepened with a warm amber note and a pinch of precious orris for an addictive zesty allure.

These scents are joined by Silk Blossom, returning in a cologne and diffuser to tempt the senses. Completing the line-up is an Orange Blossom Hair Mist and a Nectarine Blossom & Honey Diffuser. The lightweight hair mist is formulated with natural argan oil and pro vitamin B5 to help give hair a healthy shine while the diffuser can be used to energise the air with a playful, fruity fragrance."

Review of Jo Malone London Silk Blossoms
Jo Malone London Limited Edition Silk Blossoms Cologne

My Thoughts on Jo Malone London Silk Blossoms Cologne:

The Bottle: The bottle is a departure from the standard rectangle shaped bottle. Featuring a round glass bottle with a white plastic cap made to look like marble, the packaging is very attractive and evocative of silk white blossoms. The cap of your bottle is unique to you. This round bottle and round cap limited edition packaging appeared in 2021's Spring Blossoms Collection (read review here)

It is described by Jo Malone London as:

"Nature’s blooms at their most tempting. The joyful scent of silk tree blossom, irresistible to hummingbirds and butterflies. Apricot-fresh with a touch of spice. Intensified by clouds of powdery soft heliotrope, nestling on a bed of moss.

Taking inspiration from sea-washed pebbles, every cap is unique and will vary for each individual purchase."

The Scent: Silk Blossom first launched in 2020. Top notes are Apricot and White Pepper; middle note is Silk tree blossom; base notes are Moss and Heliotrope. It is definitely a very attractive scent as Jo Malone London only releases limited editions of best sellers. This is an immediately gorgeous fragrance. My first impression was "cotton with baby powder". The apricot and silk blossoms come through strongly at first and then you are enveloped by the white pepper and moss. Heliotrope is a purple flower, that has a sweet scent likened to vanilla, baby powder, grapes, or cherry pie.

The Dry Down: Quite fast as is typical of a cologne. I quite like that for Silk Blossoms, as it is like a fluffy fragrance cloud.

The Tastes: The Heliotrope give it a vanilla cherry pie taste. A bit sweet but nicely balanced with a tang.

The Colours: I see warm tones along with white silk blossoms.

The Feelings: My first instinct was that I felt enveloped by this fragrance in a comfy cushiony cloud. Quite inviting, familiar and soothing.

The Wear Time: A good 3-4 hours wear if on the usual wrists and necks. Longer if you apply it on the décolleté area.

Suggested occasions to wear this: All day, Every Day! This is one of those utilitarian fragrances that work for every occasion.

Overall: Already a best seller, I do love this limited edition release of Silk Blossoms. I think the bottle with the round marble cap matches it more.

Each cap is unique. They are meant to look like sea-washed pebbles.

A very attractive bottle design. The hand feel is amazing and the round design matches the fragrance more than the standard rectangle bottle.

My Thoughts on :

It is described by Jo Malone London as:

"A shimmering scent captured in a lightweight Hair Mist. Formulated with natural argan oil and pro vitamin B5, it is enriched with nourishing and softening ingredients to help give hair a healthy shine. Suitable for all hair types. Scent your hair with our floral fragrance. Clementine flower sparkles over a heart of orange blossom and water lily. Taking inspiration from sea-washed pebbles, every cap is unique and will vary for each individual purchase."

Ingredients:

Alcohol Denat., Dimethicone, Isopropyl Palmitate, Isononyl Isononanoate, Fragrance (Parfum), Diisopropyl Adipate, Tricaprylin, Hordeum Vulgare (Barley) Extract\Extrait D'Orge, Panthenol, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Extract, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Squalane, Isopropyl Isostearate, Linoleic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Citral, Limonene, Geraniol, Linalool, Hexyl Cinnamal, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate <ILN45338>

The Bottle: A simple and chic tall round glass bottle with a marble looking plastic cap.

The Scent: At first, mostly like jasmine. You then get some of the orange blossom and water lily coming through. There is a bit of nectarine honey sweetness. There is a bit of an incense smell to it - some sandalwood I think.

How does it make my hair feel: I love that this on the hair. The argan oil gives it a sheen and my hair feels soft and looks shiny. The pro vitamin B5 can only be good for the hair.

The Wear Time: The fragrance does last quite a while on my hair. It stays and lingers on until I wash my hair.

Suggested occasions to wear this: I think this is a good alternative for those who love fragrances but might have some allergic reactions to wearing fragrances on the skin. This nourishing hair mist is a good middle ground. Perfect also if you've been in a smoky area or are covered in cooking scents for a quick freshening up.

Overall: Quite a lovely alternative to the colognes and I love the argan oil and pro vitamin B5.

A lovely alternative to the colognes. Good for the gym bag as a quick pick-me-up.

Review of Jo Malone London Nectarine Blossom & Honey Diffuser
Jo Malone London Limited Edition Nectarine Blossom & Honey Diffuser

My Thoughts on Jo Malone London Limited Edition Nectarine Blossom & Honey Diffuser:

This is described by Jo Malone London as:

"A succulent peach plucked from a market stall in the early morning sun. Energise the spirit with this playful and fruity scent. Filled with Jo Malone London’s fragrance formula in a sleek new design. Provides constant scent for approximately 3-4 months. For optimal diffusion use all 10 reeds simultaneously."

The Bottle: Simple round glass with the name and brand printed on it. Ultimate minimalistic chic.

The Scent: Fruity and definitely peachy. It does make me think of biting into a juicy ripe peach. Quite delicious! It is very fresh and you get some herbaceous notes as well.

The Feelings: Joyful. I do enjoy this diffuser very much. I love coming home to a house that smells like a fruit stall in Summer. All of the scents of delicious Summer fruits, vegetables and herbs are very inviting. I love getting comments like: "your house smells delicious!".

The Throw and Wear Time: You will need all ten reeds if you want to have this in a fairly big room. I started off with 5 reeds in the beginning when I had this in my living room which opens on to the kitchen and dining room and the "throw" was insufficient. It was works well with four-five reeds for a room or washroom.

Overall: A lovely and inviting scent that sits well in the background. Perfect as a diffuser to mask our furbabies' mess.
